Apollonius von Tyana

Apollonius von Tyana (altgriech.: Ἀπολλώνιος ὁ ΤΤανεύύ; ca. 15 - ca. 100 n. Chr.), manchmal auch Apollonios von Tyana genannt, war ein griechischer neopythagorischer Philosoph aus der Stadt Tyana in der römischen Provinz Kappadokien in Anatolien. Er ist nicht mit Apollonios von Rhodos zu verwechseln, dem Author der Argonautika.
Apollonios wurde selbst in der Frühen Neuzeit oft als pagane Gegenfigur oder Alternative zu Jesus Christus wahrgenommen.
