Die Aurangabad-Höhlen bestehen aus zwölf buddhistischen Kult- und Wohnhöhlen sowie einer hinduistischen Höhle auf dem zentralindischen Dekkan-Plateau.
Die 36 Fundstätten wurden gegen Ende des zweiten Jahrhundert BCE geschaffen und dann später ab dem fünften Jahrhundert erweitert.
