Das Mahabhashya (Sanskrit: महाभाष्य, Iast: Mahābhāṣya, Ipa: [Mɐɦaːbʱaːʂjɐ], "großer Kommentar") ist ein Kommentar zu ausgewählten Regeln der Sanskrit Grammatik aus Pāṇinis Aṣṭādhyāyī sowie Kātyāyanas Vārttika-sūtra und eine Ausarbeitung von Pāṇinis Grammatik, der Patañjali zugeschrieben wird. Das Werk wird auf das 2. Jahrhundert v. Chr. datiert.
